Coldlytics is your go-to source for insurance agents leads. We have deep industry expertise in building cold email and cold calling lists of insurance agents. Sourcing leads in the insurance space has previously been a daunting task - not anymore!

In this step-by-step guide we will help you get a fresh list of insurance agents including their email address below.

If you’ve been searching for insurance agents, you likely came across several different types. While other sources group all of these together, you can get more granular with Coldlytics.

Using the additional notes section, you can request inclusions and exclusions. An example of this would be “Include companies that mention “life insurance” on their website.” or “Exclude companies that mention “auto insurance” on their website.”

If you’ve tried to build a list like this before, chances are you’ve used something like Seamless AI or D7 Lead Finder. The reality is that those lists are often sparse as they contain many incorrect leads or generic inboxes like support@ and info@. Coldlytics will only provide leads that are direct points of contact. No more generic inboxes.

So how does Coldlytics work exactly?

Coldlytics begins to build your list by sourcing Google Business Profiles of insurance agents. From there we can source information like how many reviews they have, what their review score is, and the link to their website.

Once we’ve scraped this information and added it to a spreadsheet begin cleaning the list with the follow three steps: Deduplication, Cleansing and Normalization.

From there this list is passed on to our team of human researchers. We find human research to be the best approach as it allows us to scour the internet in ways to find email addresses that would otherwise be missed by scrapers.

Now that our team has enriched the direct contact information for all of these insurance agents we can now send this over to our email validation partner, Zerobounce, for email verification.

If you’re new to email verification don’t worry, there isn’t much you need to know here. The end goal is for us to provide you with as many deliverable email contacts as possible and reduces the amount of bounces in your next outreach campaign.

The best part? We have a bounce-free guarantee. You’ll never pay for a bounced contact again.

All of this takes place in about 24 hours from the time of request. The spreadsheet link is emailed to you as soon as it’s ready. You can get started easily with Coldlytics in the steps below.

How to build your email list of insurance agents

Let's get to it. Here are the 5 simple steps to building your totally bespoke mailing list of insurance agents.

Step 2: Start a new task using Coldlytics and Google Maps

Once signed up, click the "New Task" button. Specify how many insurance agents you want to source then head over to Google Maps.

Search Google Maps for "Insurance agents in [location]", where [location] can be a specific city, state, or even country. Get as granular as you want here, but we'd recommend sticking to geographies with a combined population of over 20k.

Copy and paste the Google Maps URL from your browser address bar into Coldlytics.

Repeat this step as many times as you wish. For example, if you want to source agents in multiple cities or specific states.

Step 3: Consider using advanced filters

Coldlytics enables you to refine your list by metrics such as…

  • Whether they are advertising on Facebook
  • Whether they are advertising on Google
  • Company Revenue
  • Company Headcount
  • Company Founding Date
Advanced filters on Coldlytics - not to be found elsewhere!

Step 4: Enter Additional Notes

Every task you submit is triaged by a human, before being assigned to our research team. Use the "Additional Notes" section to optionally provide context to your targeting requirements.

You can also use this section to specify positive or negative keywords to look for on each agent's website. This can be helpful to hone in on specialities or other important aspects of their business.

For example: Only include agents that mention "Auto Insurance" on their website.
Enter your additional notes in this box.

Step 5: Define Data Points

Think of a data point as a column in the final spreadsheet. Your list will always include the following data points for each contact we provide:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company Name
  • Job Title
  • Email Address
  • Company Website
We always provide direct email addresses, rather than generic emails such as sales@, info@, contact@, etc.

Additionally, you can request any of the following data points. Coldlytics provides the most extensive set of data points in the industry, enabling you to build a comprehensive picture of every single prospect before you even begin your outreach.

  • LinkedIn Profile URL
The personal LinkedIn profile of the contact in question.
  • Address
Split into components - first line, city, state, zip.
  • Phone Number
    The main business/switchboard phone.
  • Direct Dial
The direct phone number (usually cell) for each contact. This costs an additional credit per contact provided.
  • Google Review Count & Score
  • Google My Business (GMB) Profile URL
Also whether it's been claimed by the business.
  • Company Social Profiles
Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Ad Pixels
Whether the business has a Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok ad pixel installed. When these are present we can assume that they are currently running, or have ran ads in the past.
  • Google Analytics
Whether the business uses Google Analytics.
  • E-commerce
Whether the business uses e-commerce technologies such as Shopify or Klaviyo.
  • Wordpress
    Whether the business uses Wordpress.
  • Page Speed in Millesconds
How fast does their website load? This can be a useful if you are offering website development or optimization services.
